As follow-up to the City Council's fact-finding work session and community open house event regarding WonderBlock and Parking on November 15, Ogden City Community and Economic Development will be hosting a second public open house event on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
The open house will take place at historic Ogden Union Station (2501 Wall Avenue) and provide an opportunity for residents to interact with city staff to discuss the proposals, ask questions and provide comments.
Redevelopment Agency Meeting – December 13
Residents will also have an opportunity to address the City Council regarding the WonderBlock and Parking projects at a City Redevelopment Agency (RDA) meeting on December 13, 2022, starting at 6:00 pm. The RDA meeting will be in the City Council Chambers on the third floor of the Municipal Building.
It is expected that the development and financing plans for WonderBlock and the proposed Paid Parking Management System will be formally considered by the Ogden City Redevelopment Agency and the City Council at public hearings scheduled for January 10, 2023, where public comments/input will also be encouraged.
