Biography
Dave has been happily married to Kim since 2014. Between them, they have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. Dave had two sons and a daughter, a granddaughter and grandson. They all reside in Fort Collins, Colorado. Dave’s stepdaughter is in her medical residency at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dave and Kim enjoy the outdoors, skiing, hiking, and bicycling.
In the early 1980’s, Dave began his successful career in sales by purchasing a Jostens franchise sales territory in Colorado. For 32 years, he provided dedicated service to high schools and universities across a vast area serving schools from Casper, Wyoming to North Denver and east to the bordering states. Following retirement, Dave moved to Ogden to marry Kim and it has been home ever since.
Dave is actively involved in the Ogden community. Dave served nearly 8 years on the Ogden City Planning Commission, has been a volunteer Team Lead for the Ogden Marathon, serves on the boards of the Ogden Nature Center, Visit Ogden and the Wasatch Front Regional Council.
As a council member Dave is interested in seeing Ogden grow responsibly preserving our small town feel, our historic charm, while boosting economic vitality to benefit all who live in Ogden.
