Biography
Marcia White has lived in Utah for the last 17 years and in Ogden for the past 4 years. She was elected to the Ogden City Council as an At Large representative in November 2013. Marcia has been active within her community and has served on various boards and commissions throughout her career. Marcia is passionate about Ogden City and understands the value of giving her time to her community which she works, lives and plays. She is excited to be part of the future of Ogden building upon the foundation that has been already established.
Marcia earned a Bachelor Degree in Industrial & Management Systems Engineering and a Master Degree in Public Administration from the University of Nebraska. She is a process oriented, data driven person which helps her make solution based decisions. Marcia currently works as a healthcare consultant for a nationally recognized company. Prior, she developed, owned and sold a successful practice management and medical billing company.
She likes participating in the various local events that can be found in Ogden. She is an avid cyclist and enjoys all the outdoor activities that can be found in Ogden’s backyard. Marcia happily resides in Ogden with her partner of 18 years Nancy Knape, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
