Newspaper Notice Timing Amendment
Ogden is looking to amend its requirements for publishing notices in a local newspaper. The proposal would provide flexibility on when notices are required to be published.
In 2021, the Utah legislature adopted SB 201, which amended public notice requirements. That bill requires most notices of land use matters to be posted on the state public notice website www.Utah.gov/pmn. It removed requirements that land use notices be published in a local newspaper.
