Testing
Run both hot and cold water through all faucets to determine if the low pressure affects one fixture or the entire property.
- If the low pressure affects only a single fixture check for a clogged aerator or partially closed supply valve.
- If the low pressure affects the entire property check the main shut off valve to ensure it is fully open.
- If the low pressure only affects hot water, check your water heater.
The most common cause of low water pressure in a home that is more than 20 years old is steel pipes that have become clogged with deposits.
If your entire property is experiencing low water pressure contact Ogden City Utility Billing for assistance.
